Game Four of the American League Championship Series will be played in New York tonight between the Yankees and the Houston Astros. The game was postponed last night. First pitch is 8:08pm. The game will be televised on FS1. Zach Greinke will start for Houston. Masahiro Tanaka starts for the Yankees.
Joe Maddon has inked a three-year deal to manage the Los Angeles Angels. The 65-year old returns to a team he worked for for 31 seasons. Maddon was signed as an undrafted catcher by the Angels in 1975. He went on to spend time as a player, coach and manager within the Angels organization. Maddon was fired by the Chicago Cubs after the season.
The Frontier League has announced they are expanding after a merger with the Can-Am League. The 2020 season will see the Frontier League become the largest independent league in the country with 14 teams. The Washington Wild Things and the Lake Erie Crushers will play in the seven-team Can-Am Division that will include three teams from New Jersey and two teams from Canada.
