Alameda Waterpark opened over the weekend, but staffing issues are forcing the county to change pool hours.
The pool will close on Mondays and Tuesdays this summer. Wednesday and Thursday hours will be from 12:15 to 5 p.m.
Friday and Saturday the pool will stay open until 7 p.m. And then on Sunday it will close at 5 p.m.
County officials say that if you have a seasonal pass to the pool, you will receive 50 percent refunds due to the limited hours.
The county is still looking to hire more lifeguards, offering $10 per hour and other incentives.
