An event for kids this weekend at Alameda Park in Butler Township is sure to get everyone in the holiday spirit.
The Annual Flashlight Candy Cane Hunt will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Carousel Shelter.
Toddlers through kids ten years old are welcome to bring a flashlight and follow clues to find candy canes. Hot chocolate will be served and Santa is expected to make an appearance.
Pre-registration with Butler County Parks and Recreation Department is required at a cost of $9 per child.
