Events for county residents of all ages will be taking place at Alameda Park this week.
The events kick off Monday with a free showing of the movie Rio 2 at the Masonic Shelter beginning at 8:30 p.m.
Events continue on Tuesday evening with the vocal harmonies of Butler Notables in a free concert. The performance will take place at 6:30pm at the Odd Fellow Gazebo, and is open to the public.
Wednesday is School Pride Day at the Alameda Waterpark. Wear your private or home school logo or show your student ID and get half off admission. Also Wednesday a free guided hike through the park will focus on deer. This group will meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Shelter 2 in the Odd Fellow Loop.
The park will feature two events on Thursday. In the morning, children are invited to Alameda Story Adventures, from 11:30am to noon for kids 6 and under at the Rotary Shelter. Also the free outdoor Discovery Series continues with a program about Creek Creatures presented by Moraine State Park Rangers which will take place at the Carousel Shelter at 6:30 p.m.
