Events for county residents of all ages will be taking place at Alameda Park this week.
The events kick off Tuesday evening with a free concert by the rock n’ roll band Muddy Creek. The performance will take place at 6:30pm at the Odd Fellow Gazebo, and is open to the public.
Wednesday is Butler School Pride Day at the Alameda Waterpark. Wear your Moniteau or A.C. Valley school logo or show your student ID and get half off admission.
The park will feature two events on Thursday. In the morning, children are invited to Alameda Story Adventures, from 11:30am to noon for kids 6 and under at the Rotary Shelter. Also the free outdoor Discovery Series continues with a program about honey bees from Jennings educators which will take place at the Carousel Shelter at 6:30 p.m.
Finally, the Moonlight Swim and Dive In Movie on Friday is Paddington Bear. The family film begins at 8:30 p.m. at the waterpark.
