Two people were hurt Monday while working at AK Steel.
A company spokeswoman said there was a malfunction with an electrical panel in the North Processing area of the Butler Works plant. The incident happened about 9:30 a.m.
Two workers were injured and taken to the hospital for an evaluation. One of those individuals was burned, according to the company.
It’s unclear if the workers were AK Steel employees or members of another company contracted to do work.
A third individual was evaluated at the site by medical personnel and later returned to work.
