Members of the Butler School Board After-Action Review Committee have begun the process of taking a closer look at the results of consolidation.
At their initial meeting Wednesday night, the group of nine board members and administrators discussed the areas that will be examined as part of the assessment including cost savings, staff collaboration, classroom equality and updated technology.
In an effort to find out more information, the group plans to request administrators to provide information in areas such as transportation, discipline and attendance. The committee also hopes to survey the community for an unbiased opinion about the transition.
The next meeting of the committee will be held Tuesday, Dec. 22 at 4:30 p.m. again at the district’s administrative offices. An interim report will be presented at the end of January with a final report at the end of February.
