Increased police activity on the Mars Area School District property today is due to a training exercise.
According to a press release from the district, the Adams Township Police Department will be holding the training at the farmhouse at 1746 Three Degree Road.
Numerous emergency vehicles will be on the property and officers will be firing practice rounds.
Doc’s Way, the access road connecting Three Degree Road to Mars Area Elementary School, will be closed as part of the exercise. Those accessing the school on Thursday should do so from Route 228.
