A school bus traveled off the road and was left dangling over a hillside along Route 228 on Thursday in southern Butler County.
The accident happened about 2:30 p.m. in Adams Township, closing Route 228 between Beaver Street Extension and Warrendale Road.
The bus driver was the only person aboard at the time of the crash. He was taken to a hospital for an evaluation but not believed to be seriously injured.
It’s unclear what caused the driver to lose control of the bus.
