The ongoing labor dispute between nurses and administration at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital could take another step in the coming weeks.
Nurses have now given management a strike date of March 13th if a new contract isn’t reached.
The negotiations for a new deal have been ongoing since last July after a three year agreement expired.
Understaffing has been one of the chief issues for nurses according to the union.
There are 220 nurses at ACMH—a 160 bed hospital based out of Kittanning.
