A portion of an Adams Township road has been closed as a result of an accident earlier this afternoon.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center just after 3 p.m. for an accident with injuries in the 200 block of Ridge Road.
Early reports were that either a pedestrian or a motorcyclist was involved and a helicopter was put on standby. Adams Township emergency responders were among those arriving on the scene and the helicopter was cancelled.
Motorists in that area are advised that traffic could be delayed until the scene has been cleared.
