Just as AAA predicted, local gas prices are averaging just below the $3 per gallon mark.
In Butler, the average price for a gallon of self-serve is $2.99, that’s up a nickel from last week.
Prices throughout western PA are averaging at $2.97.
AAA says prices will likely hit $3 this week…and Pennsylvania will likely be the only state in the Mid-Atlantic region to reach this mark. Most other states are still averaging 11-cents or more cheaper.
