Local gas prices are continuing to rise.
According to AAA East Central’s weekly gas price report, the average price for a gallon of self-serve gas in Butler is $2.94, that’s up a nickel from last week. Statewide, the average price is $2.92, just 8-cents away from hitting the $3 per gallon mark.
AAA says prices in the state hit a high of $2.90 in both June 2015 and September 2017, but have not risen above $3 per gallon since November 2014.
