Gas prices in western Pennsylvania are seeing a slight increase this week as all eyes remain on Hurricane Florence and the effects it could have on prices.
AAA says the average price for a gallon of regular, unleaded, self-serve is $3.15 in Butler; the same it was last week.
Regionally, the average price is $3.11. Nationally it’s $2.85.
Market analysts say with the switchover to winter-blend gasoline fast approaching, gas prices are expected to decline this month. However, the threat of Hurricane Florence will likely have an impact on East Coast gas prices.
