Local gas prices remained stable over the past week.
According to AAA East Central’s weekly gas report, the average price for a gallon of gas in western Pennsylvania is $2.52. That’s down a penny a gallon from last week.
In Butler, the average price went up a penny to $2.58 per gallon.
This week last year, drivers in western Pennsylvania were still paying below $2 per gallon ($1.94).
