Gas prices are the lowest they’ve been in 12 years and could drop even more in the coming weeks.
AAA says the national average is $2.15 per gallon, which is 56-cents cheaper than this time last year.
The average price per gallon in the Pittsburgh area is $2.42.
Experts say the low prices are due to an oversupply of fuel in the U.S. and overseas.
