Gas prices dropped a few cents in the past week.
According to AAA East Central’s weekly gas report, the average price for a gallon of gas in western Pennsylvania is $2.53. That’s a two-cent drop from last week.
In Butler, the average price has remained stable, down a cent from last week to $2.57 per gallon.
This week last year, drivers in western Pennsylvania were paying an average of $1.86 per gallon.
