Gas prices remain unchanged across much of the region but are down slightly locally.
According to AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report, the average price for a gallon of regular, unleaded, self-serve in Butler is $3.07. That’s down a penny from last week.
The lowest gas prices in the Western Pennsylvania region can be found in Clarion where motorists are paying an average of $2.93 for a gallon of unleaded, self-serve, while Brookville drivers are paying the most at $3.17.
AAA says national prices are an average of 55 cents per gallon higher than they were last year at this time.
