Gas prices have continued to decrease in our area.
According to AAA East Central’s weekly gas report, the average price for a gallon of gas in western Pennsylvania is $2.54. It’s a decrease, albeit a small one, by one cent from last week.
In Butler, the average price is $2.58 per gallon.
Drivers are still paying significantly higher prices this week compared to this same time last year. The average price of gas in western Pennsylvania during the week of February 15, 2016 was $1.90.
