Cranberry Township has received an award for improved traffic safety from the American Automobile Association.
For the ninth year, Cranberry was awarded the AAA Platinum Traffic Safety Award which is the highest that the organization gives out.
A plaque commemorating the award was presented to the township at a AAA luncheon in November.
The award recognizes Cranberry’s efforts to improve traffic safety through enforcement, engineering, education and road maintenance.
