Butler County motorists should be aware of a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation road project beginning Monday.
Milling, patching, overlay, guiderail and other construction activities are planned for Route 38 in Summit, Oakland, Center, Concord and Washington townships.
The work was expected to get underway at 7 a.m. Monday and continue through July 2.
Traffic will be controlled by flaggers so drivers are encouraged to slow down and use caution. PennDOT say fines are doubled for violations in work zones. Congestion and delays in the project area are expected.
