If you’ve ever wondered what an old possession is worth, a local museum is giving you the opportunity to find out.
The Maridon Museum is sponsoring an antiques appraisals event Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the museum multi-purpose room at 322 North McKean Street.
Anyone purchasing an appraisal will receive free admission to the museum on Saturday, as well as 10 percent off any gift shop purchases.
The cost is $5 per item with a limit of 10 total items. People interested in having a large item appraised should bring a picture.
