The Pittsburgh Pirates-Chicago Cubs game at PNC Park Wednesday was the most-watched Wild Card game in Major League Baseball history. More than 8.3 million viewers watched the game, breaking a record that had been set the night before during the Houston Astros-New York Yankees American League Wild Card game.
Last night in the American League Divisional Series’: Texas defeated Toronto 5-2. Houston topped Kansas City 5-2. Both series continue today, and the National League games also begin with the Cubs in St. Louis this evening followed by Los Angeles hosting the New York Mets.
