The NHL season opened last night. The Chicago Blackhawks raised their Stanley Cup banner, but lost to the New York Rangers 3-2. San Jose, Vancouver and Montreal also won their openers. The Pittsburgh Penguins open their season tonight in Dallas. Face-off is 8:30pm. Pre-game on WISR 680am is 8:00pm.
