Local veterans are invited to take advantage of several flu clinics being offered around the area this month.
The first opportunity is Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at American Legion Post 852 in Harrisville. There are three chances to get a flu shot at the VA Butler Healthcare Primary Care Clinic on New Castle Road including this Saturday (10/10) from 8 a.m. to noon, next Thurday (10/15) from 5 p.m. to 7, and next Saturday (10/24) again from 8 a.m. to noon.
Additional flu clinics will be held on Tuesday (10/13) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the VFW Post in Parker as well as on October 27th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the VFW Post in Mars.
Veterans not enrolled in VA Care can still receive a flu shot if they bring a copy of their DD214. Call 724-285-2223 for more information.
