The Armstrong County Jail’s governing board is expected to begin discussing tighter security Thursday following the escape of an inmate earlier this year.
The board will mull possible solutions based on separate investigations by the county District Attorney’s Office and Monaca-based Corporate Security and Investigation. Both examined jail policies, personnel and procedures and what led up to the escape of Robert Edward Crissman Jr.
The board could also decide the job status of Warden Dave Hogue, who has been suspended since August.
