Plans are coming together for the beginning of construction on the new downtown parking garage later this month.
At their meeting Monday night, the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Butler heard from former board member Joe Gray who has been involved with the Centre City project through Gateway Engineering.
According to Gray, work to build the garage is likely to begin October 26th. A groundbreaking ceremony will likely be held October 19th.
Construction on the hotel is also progressing through the planning stages although there is no definitive date known for that groundbreaking at this time.
