Ten local residents were arrested Tuesday in a drug bust that spanned the county.
The suspects ranged in age from 21-to-48-years old, according to Butler County Detective Tim Fennell. Nine were picked up in various locations throughout Butler County. One was arrested in Grove City. The majority of the suspects were charged with dealing heroin and crack cocaine.
In total, 16 arrest warrants were issued Monday stemming from drug investigations earlier this year. Authorities will continue to search for the six who have not yet been charged.
The Butler County Drug Task Force spearheaded the sweep, along with help from Butler City Police, Butler County Sheriff’s Department and the county probation office.
