Keith Urban earned his 19th Number One song this week as his latest hit, “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16” moved to the top of the Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart. The song is the first release from his upcoming album.
During his recent Number One party for “Raise ‘Em Up,” Keith told the crowd about the connection he felt with both “Raise ‘Em Up” and “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16.” He said: 
“In some ways, I think these songs probably do have, they have a thing about them that feel family, communal in nature. So, whatever is in them, the spirit, I guess, is what I connect to. I think it’s just the spirit. I think that’s it.”
Keith is back on the road checking out auditions for the 15th and final season of American Idol, which returns to FOX in January.

- Keith will be in Las Vegas on Saturday (October 3rd) to perform at the Route 91 Harvest Festival.
- There is no word yet on when Keith’s new album will be released.
