A Kittanning man is in jail after police allege he was caught driving under the influence in Butler County, which marked his 4th DUI in seven months.
Joshua Heigley, 35, is accused of driving more than 100 mile per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone on Route 422 in Summit Township, Butler County. When a state police trooper pulled him over, Heigley is accused of having an open container of alcohol and two small children in his backseat. The arrest happened on March 17.
Heigley was due in court Tuesday for a preliminary hearing. He remains in the Butler County Prison on $250,000 bond.
