Butler is the next stop on a local woman’s bike ride across the country for charity.
Laura Crago will be at Snack ‘n Pack at 5 p.m. Friday on her way to New York as she rides in memory of her father Wilber. Wilber died unexpectedly when Laura was 14.
Crago’s ride starting on Aug. 16 in Santa Monica, California and will finish on the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City.
The event tonight will have food and drink available for purchase, as well as a Chinese auction. Laura’s ride has already raised over $9,000 to benefit Habitat for Humanity. She has a $25,000 goal by the end of the ride.
