A Butler woman is facing multiple charges following a fight downtown last weekend.
Butler City police were called to a fight involving five people Sunday (9/20) around 3 p.m. in the 400 block of East Locust Street.
According to a criminal complaint, 23-year-old Cortney Scott broke into a residence and punched two other women in the face. When the officer arrived on the scene Scott refused to cooperate and kicked the officer. The officer then used a Taser on Scott to place her under arrest.
Scott is currently in the Butler County Prison awaiting a September 28th hearing on charges including burglary, aggravated assault, simple assault, criminal trespass, and resisting arrest.
