A woman was flown by medical helicopter to a hospital in Pittsburgh on Monday afternoon after driving her car off Route 8 in northern Butler County.
The wreck happened just before 3 p.m. near The Rock House restaurant and bar in Clay Township.
The vehicle reportedly came to rest under a large advertising sign after hitting a tree. It’s unclear what caused the accident.
No other vehicles were involved.
