National Child Passenger Safety Week continues through this Saturday and state police are offering to help.
A child seat check event is scheduled for this Saturday (9/19) from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Unionville Volunteer Fire Department on Mahood Road in Center Township.
State law mandates that children under the age of four must ride in a car seat and kids ages four to eight must use a booster seat. Also, kids under the age of 12 should always ride in the back seat.
Those interested in having a seat installed or checked should call the State Police Butler Barracks to schedule an appointment.
