The Pittsburgh Steelers released a statement Sunday regarding tight ends coach James Daniels, stating Daniels did not have an altercation with a New England Patriots fan during last Thursday ‘s game. A fan accused Daniels of assault at halftime, but Steelers President Art Rooney II said an internal investigation cleared Daniels of any involvement and found no witnesses. Daniels is the third longest tenured coach. He was hired by former coach Bill Cowher in 2004.
