A portion of the Pennsylvania Turnpike will be closed early Sunday (Sept. 13) as crews do some bridge work.
The westbound lanes of the turnpike will be closed from midnight until 5 a.m. Sunday between the Butler Valley (Exit #39) and the Allegheny Valley (Exit #48) interchanges. Crews will be erecting overhead bridge beams for the Saxonburg Boulevard bridge replacement project.
There will be a posted detour in place.
