Local drivers should be aware of a sobriety checkpoint that will be set up this weekend.
State police at the Butler Barracks will be setting up the checkpoint on an undisclosed state roadway in Butler County Saturday evening around 11 p.m.
The goal of this checkpoint is to remove impaired drivers from the roadway and improve safety for all travelers.
Any weekend plans that involve alcohol should also involve a designated driver.
