We’re working to learn more information into a situation at a local elementary school Friday morning.
Around 8:30 a.m., the Butler County 911 Center received a call from someone reporting that they saw a man with a gun walking near, but not on, Northwest School property.
It’s not clear if Northwest was locked down as a precautionary measure. We’re waiting to talk with Butler Area School District Superintendent Dr. Dale Lumley.
