Police will be conducting sobriety checkpoints throughout the Labor Day holiday weekend.
Authorities say the checkpoints will be on various roadways throughout the county.
Drivers are urged to, of course, drive sober and/or get a designated driver. And also to have their license, registrations and insurance cards readily available.
You’re also reminded of the Steer Clear Law, which states drivers must move order to the lane furthest away from stopped emergency vehicles OR slow down if it is not possible to move over. You can get fined if you do not do either of those things.
