The Moraine Trails Council of the Boy Scouts of America honored a Penn Township woman at their annual Distinguished Citizens Award Dinner Thursday.
Cathy Glasgow took home the recognition, which is given each year to a person in the community that exemplifies scouting ideals and perpetuates community service.
Glasgow is the owner and president of Butler County Ford, a Rotary Club of Butler member, past chairman of Butler Downtown and a member of the Butler County Chamber of Commerce.
Council also recognized McClymonds Supply and Transit as the company of the year.
The money raised from last night’s dinner supports year-round scout camp facilities and locations.
