A month after a Knoch High School student was arrested after allegedly posting a video online of him firing an AK-style weapon with the caption “Training For Prom Walk,” the Saxonburg Police Department will hold a forum on teen violence and school shootings.
Officials are set to discuss the warning signs that are often missed when these tragic incidents happen. A case study will be presented on the shooting last year at a Parkland, Florida high school where 17 students and staff members were killed.
The forum is open to the public and will be held inside the Saxonburg Police Department beginning at 7 p.m. Wednesday. It is free to attend.
