Tickets for Butler County Symphony Orchestra’s upcoming 2015-2016 season are now on sale.
The season begins on October 3 and features six concerts, all at the Butler Intermediate High School on Fairground Road in Butler. Adult season tickets for all six shows are available for $103 at the symphony office on South Main Street in Butler until September 30. Individual show tickets are also available.

“I am looking forward to continuing to work with this group of talented, professional musicians,” Musical Director Matthew Kraemer said in a statement. “Our 67th season has something for everyone with our audience foremost in mind. Our new season is filled with great music and wonderful guest artists.”

Dmitri Shostakovich – Symphony No. 5 in D minor
November 7 – Psycho Live @55

December 5 – Holiday Traditions
Kate Amatuzzo, vocalist
Bring the whole family for a cherished Butler County tradition. Featuring special guest Kate Amatuzzo. Sing along with your favorite holiday classics.
February 6, 2016 – Marianne Cornetti Returns
Marianne Cornetti, mezzo-soprano
The Butler County Symphony Orchestra welcomes home Butler County native, Marianne Cornetti. The concert will feature select opera arias and orchestral intermezzos.
March 5, 2016 – At the Movies with the music of John Williams
“Join the Force” (your Butler County Symphony Orchestra) as they perform the most memorable themes from your favorite movies including Star Wars, Superman, Raiders of the Lost Ark, E.T. and Jurassic Park.
April 9, 2016 – Beethoven’s Ninth
Slippery Rock University Concert Choir, Dr. Stephen Barr, director
Young Artist Competition Winner (TBD)
Kevin Puts – Inspiring Beethoven
Ludwig van Beethoven – Symphony No. 9 in D minor
