A local band is playing for a large audience this evening.
The Butler High School Marching Band is performing the national anthem at tonight’s Pirate game.
After playing at a game last year, the band was invited back to participate again. The group is ready for the performance after two and a half weeks of band camp.
The game against the Arizona Diamondbacks begins at 7 p.m. and tonight is Star Wars Night at PNC Park.
The Butler Band is made up of 240 students under the direction of Jeff Kroner.
