The third round of this year’s X-FINITY Series “Dash For Cash” promotion is set for Friday night’s Food City 300 at Bristol. The four eligible drivers are Ryan Blaney, Elliott Sadler, Regan Smith and rookie Daniel Suarez. The highest-finishing driver in that group will collect a one hundred thousand-dollar bonus and automatically qualify for the fourth – and final – round next month at Darlington Raceway. Smith has won the first two rounds, in late May at Dover and last month at Indianapolis.
Nature’s Bakery – a “health-conscious” snacks and food brand based in Reno, Nevada – has joined Stewart-Haas Racing as primary sponsor of Danica Patrick’s Number-10 Sprint Cup Series Chevrolet beginning in 2016. The company replaces Patrick’s long-time sponsor, Go Daddy-dot-com, which announced earlier this year that it would not return after this season concludes.
