The Pittsburgh Steelers released quarterback Tajh Boyd Tuesday. Boyd was a former ACC Player of the Year while in college at Clemson, but did not see a snap in any of the preseason games thus far with the Steelers. Back-up quarterback Bruce Gradkowski returned from the injured list, making Boyd expendable. The Steelers signed wide receiver Jarrod West from Syracuse, who has also spent time in the New York Jets camp. The Steelers host Green Bay Sunday afternoon at Heinz Field. Kick-off is 1pm.
