A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Butler County through Wednesday evening as a storm brings a mixed bag of precipitation into the area.
Between 1-3 inches of snow, and accumulating ice, is all expected before this system is through.
“Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning and evening commutes,” according to the National Weather Service Pittsburgh office.
Snow, sleet, freezing rain and ice is all expected at some point. The snow started to fall in southern Butler County about 6 a.m.
