The 56th annual North Washington Rodeo begins today, Monday, August 17, 2015, in northern Butler County.
The event continues to be a draw for athletes and livestock from around the country. More than $17,000 in prize money is up for grabs.
The rodeo is sanctioned by the International Professional Rodeo Association. Proceeds benefit the North Washington Volunteer Fire Department.
