Even though Valentine’s Day has passed, Pennsylvania State Police in our area will be out making sure everyone is as safe as possible on the roads this weekend.
Roving and stationary DUI patrols will take place in various locations around the Butler County area, according to Troop D officers.
Motorists are asked to have license, registration, and insurance cards readily available. Those traveling are reminded to always use seatbelts and either drive sober or get a designated driver.
Motorists should also be aware of Pennsylvania’s Steer Clear law, which requires drivers to move over to the lane furthest away from stopped emergency vehicles or slow down if it is not possible to move over.
