It has been one year since medical marijuana became available to patients in Pennsylvania, and one year since a dispensary opened up in Butler.
The medical marijuana dispensary on Pillow Street in the city of Butler- across the parking lot from historic Pullman Park- was the first in the state to open to the public last February.
The dispensary carries a complete line of pharmaceutical-grade, dose regulated pills, oils, gels, creams, ointments, vape pens, tinctures and liquids. More than 100 medical marijuana products are sold.
A second medical marijuana dispensary opened in Butler County last November in Jackson Township.
