A waitress have been charged after police say she defrauded customers of a local restaurant by overcharging their credit and debit cards.
According to Butler Township Police, 31-year-old Amanda O’Neill of Butler overcharged several customers of Kings Restaurant on New Castle Road in Butler by increasing the amount of tips on restaurant tabs. Police began an investigation back in June after Kings management received numerous complaints from customers about frivolous charges.
Kings has since compensated those customers. O’Neill faces several charges including forgery and theft.
